Kim Jong Il's Party-Building Exploits Lauded by British Organizations

Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK issued a joint statement on June 9 on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The statement said:

The great Comrade Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., WPK on June 19, Juche 53 (1964) marked a historic event of special significance in developing the party and accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution.

Thanks to his wise leadership, the WPK could demonstrate before the world its dignity as the party which sheds rays along with the august name of President Kim Il Sung and the tested and invincible one which leads the cause of the Songun revolution.

He formulated the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung as the integral system of ideology, theory and method of Juche and great revolutionary idea in the era of independence which can be called only with the august name of Kim Il Sung, and proclaimed it as the supreme programme of the party to model the whole society on Kimilsungism.

The Songun politics in which the military affairs are regarded as the most important one of the state affairs and the overall revolution and construction are pushed forward with the army as a pillar and main force are an original political mode pursued by Kim Jong Il.
