The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on June 7.

The statement went on:

The June 15 North-South Joint Declaration adopted in the noble idea of Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK Kim Jong Il on national reunification is the great programme for Korea's independent reunification.

Thanks to the declaration, the north and the south of Korea could greet the June 15 era of reunification.

The pro-U.S., conservative and anti-reunification forces which newly took power in south Korea totally denied the implementation of the north-south joint declarations under the patronage of the U.S.

The anti-reunification forces bedeviled the north-south relations and pushed the situation on the Korean peninsula to the brink of a war.

However, the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the DPRK are carrying forward the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.

The policies for national reunification advanced in the report made at the 7th Congress of the WPK are the Juche-oriented line for reunifying Korea independently.

Such line reflects the idea of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on loving the country and the nation.

The June 15 era of reunification and the idea of By Our Nation Itself can never be checked.
