Tha Win, member of the Central Committee and secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, said this in a statement on June 9.

The statement said:

HE Kim Jong Il paid deep attention to strengthening the ideological and volitional unity and revolutionary unity of the whole party based on the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung, since he started the work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

His exploits for building and leading the party serve not only as a valuable heritage he left behind for his country and people but as an eternal foundation for guaranteeing the eternal victory of the WPK.

Under his wise leadership the single-minded unity of the Korean society was further consolidated as firm as a rock and the Korean people achieved eye-opening successes in all fields of the socialist construction.

The Korean people will make greater successes in their struggle to carry out the important tasks HE Kim Jong Un, chairman of the WPK, set forth at the WPK Seventh Congress.

We send full support and solidarity to the party and people of the DPRK working to complete the socialist cause and achieve the independent reunification and global independence under the sagacious leadership of HE Kim Jong Un.
