Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The present ruling forces of south Korea are a group of heinous traitors as they are doing harm to the destiny of the nation while being hell-bent on stifling the DPRK with the backing of outsiders, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an article. Terming the south Korean regime's dependence on outsiders and collusion with them an act of treachery against peace and reunification of the country, the dignity and interests of the nation, the article goes on: The regime's dependence on outsiders is also a hideous challenge to the improvement of the north-south relations and the cause of reunification. The U.S. is moving covertly and overtly to disarm the DPRK, being exasperated with its tremendous nuclear deterrent for self-defence getting stronger day by day. But the south Korean authorities are recklessly following the U.S. policy to stifle the DPRK in disregard of the interests of the nation. The south Korean confrontation maniacs' dependence on outsiders and collusion with them against the trend of times and the aspiration of all Koreans is chilling the hard-won atmosphere of the improvement of the north-south relations and creating serious obstacles to national reunification. What can not be overlooked is that the south Korean authorities are tightening military nexus with the Japanese reactionaries at the U.S. beck and call. The south Korean authorities are persisting in military provocations, pursuant to the policy of outsiders to stifle the DPRK by force. This has escalated tensions on the Korean peninsula. They should refrain from such shameful acts, bearing in mind that dependence on outsiders is an act of treachery doing harm to the destiny of the nation. |
