Park Geun Hye Group Accused of Scuttling June 15 Joint National Event

Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- All Koreans at home and abroad are turning out as one in the pro-reunification patriotic movement to open up a new chapter of improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving the country's reunification with their concerted efforts on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration.

This being a hard reality, the Park Geun Hye group of south Korea has made no scruple of committing the anti-reunification act of finally blocking the June 15 event common to the nation this year which has been promoted amid the great expectation and concern of all Koreans.

The Park group, taking umbrage at the meeting of the chairmen of the north side, south side and overseas side committees of All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration from the outset, disallowed the delegates of the South Side Committee to take part in the meeting and imposed even fine on each of them, groundlessly incriminating their righteous act of taking part in the meeting with their bold decision.

The puppet group turned down the application made by the delegation of the south side committee to visit the north to participate in the June 15 event common to the nation to be held in Kaesong.

A spokesman for the North Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration in a statement on June 16 branded the Park group's action to block the June 15 event common to the nation as a blatant challenge and treacherous and anti-reunification act of chilling the aspiration and desire of all Koreans for the improved inter-Korean relations, peace and reunification.

The spokesman went on;

The Park group's moves brought to light its sinister intention to justify its wicked scenario of pursuing sycophancy towards the U.S. and confrontation with the compatriots in the north, much upset by the Koreans' will for reunification.

The reality goes to clearly prove once again that the Park group is made up of the arch criminals who have pushed the inter-Korean relations into a catastrophe, deadset against the nation's reconciliation and unity, peace and reunification.

The Park group would be well advised to stop going reckless, bearing in mind that it can hardly evade the responsibility for having driven the inter-Korean relations to the lowest ebb and its persistent confrontational rackets would only precipitate its doom and a stern judgment by the nation.
