The statement said:

Officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan received with excitement and emotion the appeal to all Koreans which was adopted at the joint conference of the DPRK government, political parties and organizations to thoroughly carry out the line and policies for national reunification set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Now is the time for all Koreans to turn out and go all out for a sacred patriotic struggle to bring earlier the day of reunification in response to the above-said appeal.

We will uphold the new line and policies for national reunification set forth by Kim Jong Un, a peerlessly great man, as an immortal great programme for national reunification and take the lead in arousing all overseas Koreans to the struggle to achieve the great national unity and the independent reunification of the country in hearty response to the appeal.

We will positively support the just struggle of the south Korean people for independence, democracy and reunification and make a positive contribution to intensifying the movement of solidarity and alliance among the north and the south and overseas sides for realizing the reunification by federal formula by implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

We will resolutely join in the nationwide anti-U.S. struggle for putting an end to the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK and nuclear war exercises and driving the U.S. imperialist forces out of south Korea and thoroughly frustrate the Park Geun Hye group of traitors' country-selling politics, confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and foolish scenario for "unification of social systems".

We will make a tangible contribution to opening a new phase of improved north-south relations and independent reunification by sending a delegation of Koreans in Japan to the nationwide great meeting for reunification to be held to mark the 71st anniversary of Korea's liberation.
