The appeal to all Koreans made at the joint conference of the DPRK government, political parties and organizations on June 9 is instilling confidence in national reunification into all the forces for national independence ardently aspiring after independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

An "open letter to the U.S." was published at the conference, urging the U.S. to make a crucial decision, correctly understanding the aspiration of the Korean people and the demand of the trend of the times.

The joint national event for marking the 16th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 joint declaration, upon which All-Korean Committee for Implementation of June 15 Joint Declaration agreed amid the growing desire and will of all Koreans who have longed for the independent and peaceful reunification for 70 odd years could not come to a success due to the reckless moves of the south Korean puppet Ministry of Unification against reunification.

In face of the obstructive moves, the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, its branch organizations and personages of various circles are staging a campaign to make the joint national event a success.
