Koreans in China Flails S. Korean Authorities' Anti-Reunification Action

Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The Chinese Regional Committee of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration in a statement on June 14 denounced the south Korean authorities for disallowing the south side delegation's participation in the event common to the nation scheduled to be held in Kaesong by the representatives from the public circles of the north, the south and abroad on the 16th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration.

This is an open denial and challenge to the north-south joint declaration which all Koreans support and call for implementation as it is another unpardonable treacherous and fascist action against reunification, the statement said, and went on:

The south Korean authorities should, bearing in mind that those who chill the nation's desire and go against the trend of the times are bound to meet a miserable end, immediately stop their acts of clinging to the coattails of their U.S. master and confrontation against reunification.

No matter how desperately they work to stamp out the inter-Korean declarations and check the reunification movement, they can never stem the strong trend of all Koreans towards reunification, guided by the idea of the June 15 joint declaration.

We will more dynamically wage the patriotic movement for reunification to make a clean sweep of the vicious anti-reunification forces inside and outside Korea, firmly adhere to the north-south joint declarations and implement them.
