It was attended by ITF President Ri Yong Son, Vice-President Leong Wai Meng and his delegation, those concerned with Taekwon-Do, Kim Kyong Ho, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, officials concerned and Taekwon-Do instructors and players.

Ri Yong Son said in his address that the event commemorating the 50th anniversary showed the true will of the ITF to firmly preserve and steadily carry forward the purity and tradition of orthodox Taekwon-Do by the concerted efforts of Taekwon-do players.

The ITF will develop into a prestigious martial arts organization fully displaying the might of orthodox Taekwon-do in the future, too, he stressed.

The participants had diverse sports and amusement games, deepening friendship.
