The statement said:

June 19, 1964, a historic day when the great HE Kim Jong Il started his work at the WPK Central Committee was a significant day of eventual significance in developing the WPK.

He steadily developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and thoroughly applied it to party building and activities and thus developed the WPK into the party with strong independent stand, the invincible party guiding the socialist cause to victory without any slightest mistake in shaping line.

He wisely led the WPK to form a harmonious whole with the popular masses, setting a brilliant example of building a revolutionary party.

On the above-said occasion the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria wishes the WPK and the Korean people greater success in the general advance for bringing earlier the final victory of the cause of the Juche revolution under the guidance of the respected HE Kim Jong Un.
