Small Immersible Mud Pump Developed in DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- The Coal Science Branch under the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK developed a new type of small immersible pump for removing mud from water sump. According to its section chief Han Hyong Chun, this small mud pump is designed to suit the specific conditions of the country and it is very comfortable in operation. It can remove 15 to 30 cubic meters of mud per hour. The pump is easy to operate and can be used not only in coal mines but also in reservoirs and pumping stations for drinking water supply. |
