Kim Jong Il Praised by Leader of Bangladeshi Political Party

Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, issued a statement on June 15 on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The statement said:

We, together with the progressive people, are greeting in boundless reverence June 19 when the great HE Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK 52 years ago.

Thanks to his outstanding and tested leadership, the WPK has strengthened into the invincible party that has achieved single-minded unity and the DPRK turned into a politico-ideological power and a military power despite all difficulties and ordeals.

The progressive people pay the highest tribute to him who provided a sure guarantee for the victory of the cause of human independence.
