Events for Solidarity with Korean People Held in Nepal, Guinea
Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- A seminar and a lecture took place in Nepal and Guinea on June 10 and 15 on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

Present at the events were personages of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics and the Guinean Guyco Company and masses.

The chairman of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics and other speakers said that the north-south summit was provided in Pyongyang in June 2000 for the first time in the history of Korea's division and the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration was adopted thanks to leader Kim Jong Il's idea of loving the country, the nation and the people.

The joint declaration which promised to reunify the country by the efforts of the Korean nation free from outsiders' interference in the idea of By the Korean Nation Itself is the immortal great programme for achieving the independent reunification of Korea, they noted.

Extending full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to reunify the country in the spirit of the joint declaration, they strongly demanded the south Korean puppet authorities respect the joint declaration and thoroughly implement it.

The chief in charge of the field security of the Guinean Guyco Company in a lecture titled "Opening new era of independent reunification" said that Kim Jong Il provided the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, opening an era of By the Korean Nation Itself, a new era of independent reunification.

He accused the south Korean puppet group of totally denying the joint declaration and resorting to a foolish move to realize the "unification by absorption" with the backing of foreign forces. He urged the south Korean authorities to respect the unanimous will of the whole Korean nation to reunify the country in the spirit of the joint declaration.
