The editorial recalled that a report was published by the UN Human Rights Council on June 17 disclosing the regime's human rights abuses.

It is deplorable that the human rights situation in south Korea is arousing concern of the international community, the editorial noted.

Far from reflecting on its wrongdoings, the regime is busy putting up lame excuses peppered with lies, the editorial charged.

Referring to the UN special rapporteur's assertion that the south Korea-Japan "agreement" on sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army failed to take into consideration the recommendations from the UN human rights organization, it said all facts prove that the Park Geun Hye's regime is going against democratization of south Korean society.
