The development of this bus helps reduce noise pollution and relieve the strain on transport in the city.

According to Jong In Song, an official of the Nampho City Science and Technology Commission, the bus based on a solar battery has tens of solar panels on the top of it.

Full charge is enough for the bus to run 50~80 kms.

It needs 200V for 30km/h, 300V for 45km/h and 600V for 80-120km/h.

And a research is going on to extend its running distance.
