Kim Jong Il's Party-Building Exploits Praised by Foreign Newspapers
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers dedicated special write-ups to the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) on June 14.

The Iranian newspaper Iran News carried an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il and the WPK" illustrated with his photo.

It said that his start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK on June 19, 1964 marks a very significant event in developing the WPK.

It went on:

Under his leadership the WPK invariably enforced the popular policies such as free medical care system and free education system even in the days when the DPRK faced the worst difficulties due to the imperialists' vicious anti-socialist offensive.

The WPK could demonstrate its dignity as the powerful party which has led the socialist cause to victory, enjoying the people's absolute support and trust.

The Pakistani newspaper Election Times said in an article that he regarded it as the most important task to develop the WPK into the party of President Kim Il Sung, its founder, both in name and in reality in the whole course of leading it, and successfully realized it.

His party-building exploits will shine along with socialist Korea winning victory after victory, the newspaper added.

The Bangladeshi newspaper Dainik Probat in an article praised him for building the WPK into the Juche-oriented revolutionary party and dignified mother party.
