The Korean people frustrated the invasion by the U.S. imperialists and their followers and defended the country's independence and gains of the revolution under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and the Workers' Party of Korea, enjoying unanimous support from the people in fraternal socialist countries and progressive mankind.

And the Korean people made great contribution to preserving global peace.

During over six decades after the war, the U.S. aggressive policy against the DPRK has remained unchanged.

The U.S. which put south Korea under its military control has staged provocative military drills getting on the nerves of the DPRK and persistently resorted to economic blockade.

It also continuously introduced war equipment for aggression into south Korea.

All the facts go to clearly prove who is the chief criminal escalating the tension on the Korean peninsula.

We condemn the U.S. hostile policy toward socialist Korea.

The U.S. should understand that it can never realize its ambition to dominate the world.

We hope that the DPRK's economy and national defence would grow stronger as they serve as a guarantee for peace on the peninsula and steers the world socialist movement.
