The honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union introduced the brief biography of Kim Jong Il and said he developed the WPK into the revolutionary party of Juche and led the cause of the Juche revolution to victory.

A vice-chairman of the Federal Republic of Germany-DPRK Association said that the WPK developed into the revolutionary party invariably advancing along the road of socialism without any slightest mistake in shaping lines despite the tempest of history, and the mother party which takes care of the people's destiny in a responsible manner under the leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il with ardent patriotism opened up the new era for reunification of Korea by providing the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, the vice-chairman added.

A vice-chairman of the Bolivar Libertador District Council of Venezuela and other speakers said that Kim Jong Il's start of work at the WPK Central Committee was the event of great significance in developing the WPK and building socialism. Under his guidance the DPRK turned into the politico-ideological power and military power and peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of the world are surely guaranteed, they stressed.
