Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Seminars took place in Uganda and Nepal on June 17 and 18 on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). Displayed at the venues of the seminars were photos dealing with the exploits President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed in building and leading the WPK and Marshal Kim Jong Un's Songun revolutionary leadership exploits. Also on display there were books and photos introducing the invincible might of the WPK. The director of the Secretariat of the Uganda National Resistance Movement said that June 19, 1964 when HE Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK was the day of great significance in its development. He went on: It would be unthinkable without the exploits Comrade Kim Jong Il performed in building and leading the WPK that it has won victory after victory, rejecting all challenges of history. His revolutionary exploits will shine forever as he provided the firm political and ideological foundation on which the WPK can form a harmonious whole with the popular masses and fulfill its mission and duty as the political staff leading the Korean people's cause of independence and socialism to victory. The director of the International Affairs Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) and other speakers paid the noblest tribute to Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of his start of work at the Central Committee of the WPK, saying that today socialist Korea is dignified with independence, Songun and is demonstrating single-minded unity as there is June 19. |
