Swiss Organizations Urge UN Not to Take Unjust Stand to DPRK
Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on June 16 in support of a letter to the UN Secretariat sent by the participants in the joint conference of the DPRK government, political parties and organizations.

The statement said that the letter clarified the firm will of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government to pave a new avenue to improving the inter-Korean relations and settling the issue of national reunification in response to Marshal Kim Jong Un's line and policies for national reunification.

It noted that the UN responsible for Korea's division 70-odd years ago has a due historical and moral obligation not to turn away the issue of Korea's reunification.

It said the UN abused its name to hurl multi-national forces into the war of aggression ignited by the U.S. against the DPRK and the Korean people in 1950. it went on:

The UN should stop approaching the DPRK, a legitimate sovereign state and full-fledged UN member nation, from unjust stand at the wire-pulling of the U.S.

It is also obliged to positively support the DPRK's proposal for concluding a peace treaty and the Korean people's movement for reunification.

Officials of the UN Secretariat, especially the UN general secretary, should stop playing to the tune of the U.S. and preserve impartiality in the work for peace on the Korean peninsula.

The peace-loving people all over the world support the letter.

The UN, not patronize the U.S.!

The UN, not take unjust stand to the DPRK!
