Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The Chinese newspaper International Herald Leader recently carried an article of its correspondent in Pyongyang under the title "Are you a Mallima rider?". The newspaper said that a joint conference of officials of the party, state, economic and armed forces organs of the DPRK was held to thoroughly carry out the tasks set forth at the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, at which the 200-day campaign was declared to make a breakthrough in the struggle for accomplishing the five-year strategy for the state economic development. It went on: The fierce flames of the campaign for creating the Mallima speed are flaring up in the DPRK where the 200-day campaign of loyalty is being launched. The slogan "Are you a Mallima rider?" appeals to all the service personnel and other people to achieve bigger successes in a shorter period in the spirit of running ten thousand-ri in a day and thus demonstrate the invincible might of the DPRK and step up the building of a socialist power. The 200-day campaign is aimed at thoroughly accomplishing the five-year strategy for the state economic development advanced by Marshal Kim Jong Un. In Pyongyang City many soldiers and citizens are sweating day and night. Such inspiring songs as "We Will Go to Mt. Paektu" and "Let's Not Abandon Revolutionary Faith Though One May Die" are revving up the climate of single-minded unity. Such slogans as "200-Day Campaign of Loyalty" and "Let Us All Become Honorable Victors in the 200-Day Campaign" are pasted in Pyongyang. Letters "Are You a Mallima Rider?" and "Self-Development-First Principle" are written on not a few posters and slogans. The self-development-first principle is surely of great significance for standing up to the international sanctions against the DPRK. The campaign has already been launched and the construction work is underway across the country. Thanks to this vigorous and single-minded campaign, new buildings will be erected in Pyongyang, thus changing its look more beautifully. |
