Sinchon, June 24 (KCNA) -- An endless stream of service personnel and people visit the Sinchon Museum which bears witness to the barbarous, vicious and cruel nature of the U.S. imperialists and class enemies in the run-up to June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism. It has been visited up to now since the outset of the year by service personnel of the Korean People's Army, people of various circles and school youth and children of more than 3,100 units including Kim Il sung University, the Ministry of Mining Industry, the Capital City Construction Commission, the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex and Ryusong Junior Secondary School in Central District of Pyongyang. The U.S. imperialists occupied Sinchon County in the period of the strategic temporary retreat of the Korean People's Army during the Fatherland Liberation War and massacred more than 35,000 patriots and people or a quarter of the then population of Sinchon County by the most brutal method in less than two months. The visitors shook with resentment, looking at the clothes and rubber shoes stained with blood, bundles of hair, various kinds of torture tools and lethal weapons, evidence proving the monstrous atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialist aggressors. They posed for a long while before a semi-panorama showing GIs' hair-raising massacre of 400 mothers and 102 children. At the end of the visits they held meetings to vow to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists. |
