According to Dr. Jang Myong Guk, head of the lab, it has succeeded in several hundreds of operations for replantation of amputated limbs.

And, it has successfully carried out over 3,000 microsurgical and plastic surgical operations, including free vascularized bone graft, free vascularized skin flap and lengthening of limbs.

The lab also developed atraumatic suture for microsurgical operation and completed its production line.

Jong Phyong Il, 14 years old, said his right arm was completely amputated a year ago, but thanks to the most advantageous socialist healthcare system of the country, he had a free operation for replantation.
