Covering a total floor space of 3,910 square meters and with 3 200 square meters for display, the house displays more than 1,670 photos, over 100 pieces of art works including semi-panorama, wax replicas and sculptures as well as more than 3,000 pieces of relics and evidence of diverse forms which bear witness to the barbarous, vicious and cruel nature of the U.S. and Japanese imperialists, the south Korean puppet forces and class enemies.

An inaugural ceremony took place on Friday.

Present there were Kim Ki Nam, Kim Su Gil, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, city-level institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army, builders, people of merits and employees of the house.

Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made an inaugural speech.

He said that the house reveals the aggressive nature of the U.S. and Japanese imperialists and class enemies and the monstrous crimes committed by them, adding this place will touch off the towering indignation of the army and people of the DPRK determined to certainly take revenge upon the sworn enemies.

He noted that the visitors to the house will clearly realize who their principal enemies are and what vicious blood-suckers they are standing against and will whet more sharply the weapons of the working class for revenge and harden their resolution to have towering grudge settled.

He stressed the need for the service personnel, youths and other people to have the transparent view on the principal enemies, staunch anti-imperialist and working class awareness and intensify the drive for creating the Mallima speed in the 200-day campaign of loyalty in the spirit of dealing sledge blows at the enemies.

At the end of the ceremony the attendants went round the house before a briefing.
