Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Start of Work at C.C, WPK Marked in Different Countries

| Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Round-table talks took place in Syria and Ethiopia and film shows in China, Algeria and Nigeria between June 15 and 20 to mark the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). Korean films "Flag of workers' Party of Korea" and "Monument to Party Founding" were shown. The director of the Higher Education Department of the Regional Leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party of Syria said Kim Jong Il's start of work at the WPK Central Committee provided a sure guarantee for successfully carrying forward the Korean revolution down through generations. He personified the idea and traits of President Kim Il Sung and developed the WPK into the party of the President, the director said, adding: The ever-victorious history of the WPK would be unthinkable without the idea and leadership of HE Kim Jong Il. |
