Nigerian Figure Urges U.S. to Give up Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria who doubles as chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, released a statement on June 22 in support of the open letter the participants of the joint conference of the DPRK government, political parties and organizations sent to the U.S.

He fully supported the letter urging the U.S. to clearly understand the desire of the Korean nation and the trend of the times and make an important decision.

He demanded the U.S. boldly drop its anachronistic hostile policy toward the DPRK, take practical measures for ensuring peace and security on the Korean peninsula and stop disturbing independent reunification of the Korean nation.

The U.S. had better respond to the DPRK's fair, peace-loving and sincere appeal, bearing in mind that the unreasonable and arrogant attempt of a country for supremacy faced a miserable end all the time.
