Meeting Praising Great Persons of DPRK Held in Prague
Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- A meeting praising great persons was held in Prague, Czech Republic, on June 18 to mark the 22nd anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung and the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Attending the meeting were personages of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, the Communist Party-21 of the Czech, the Communist Party of Czech and Moravia, the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea and other political parties and public organizations, masses of Czech Republic and Slovak Republic and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Prague.

They observed a moment's silence in honor of Kim Il Sung.

Josef Servista, vice-chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and deputy general secretary of Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, said Kim Il Sung is still alive in the hearts of the progressive mankind for his tremendous exploits for the socialist construction in the DPRK and the cause of global independence.

He added that the WPK was further developed into the guiding force of the revolution and eye-opening miracles was performed in the socialist construction after Kim Jong Il started work at the Central Committee of the WPK.

Iri Vabr, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, said he was deeply impressed by the absolute trust and reverence of the Korean people for Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un during his visit to the DPRK.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
