Expressing full support and solidarity with the Korean people in their struggle for defending the sovereignty and achieving national reunification, the statement said:

The U.S. and its followers ignited the Korean war on June 25, 1950 with an aim to nip the DPRK in the bud.

The Korean people got firmly united under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and the Workers' Party of Korea to beat back the military attack of the aggressors and win a historic victory.

However, the imperialists styling themselves "rulers" of the international order still persist in their adventurous threat and blackmail and military provocations against the DPRK, far from drawing a lesson from their defeat.

This can be fully proved by the fact that the U.S. recently introduced strategic nuclear submarine and bombers into south Korea to escalate military tension again.

The DPRK is reliably defending peace on the Korean peninsula and in Asia-Pacific region and standing firm against the imperialist allied forces by dint of Songun policy.

The statement expressed full support to the Korean people's desire for achieving independent reunification of the country and establishing durable peace on the peninsula.
