Prize Awarded to Telemedicine System

| Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- February 16 Science and Technology Prize, the DPRK's top prize for sci-tech achievements, was awarded to the telemedicine system established throughout the country in Juche 99 (2010). The system helps display the advantages of the socialist healthcare system and the vitality of the universal, free medical care to the full. It has contributed to decisively upgrading the medical care, developing a number of new methods of surgery and qualifying medical workers. |
