Hessou Kohovi, chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" and chairman of the Benin National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and organize a remembrance meeting, film show and other political and cultural events on the 22nd anniversary of demise of the President.
