Andy Brooks, general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to organize a remembrance meeting, photo exhibition, film show and other events and introduce the works and exploits of the President on the 22nd anniversary of his demise.
