Kim Jong Un Awarded Honorary Medal by Ugandan National Executive Committee
Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un was presented with the Julius K. Nyerere Pan-African Honorary Medal by the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement on the occasion of the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

A ceremony of conveying the honorary medal and certificate to Kim Jong Un took place in Kampala on June 22.

Present at the ceremony were officials and members of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement, Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity in Uganda and the DPRK ambassador to Uganda and members of his Embassy.

Speeches were made there.

Daniel Rugarama, chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement, said in a speech that Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people and chairman of the WPK, is building an invincible socialist power which remains unfazed by the imperialist allied forces' vicious moves for isolating and stifling the DPRK by successfully carrying forward the cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il, the great leaders.

Highly appreciating that Kim Jong Un's great exploits and the foreign policy stand clarified by him at the Seventh Congress of the WPK serve as the guidelines for realizing Pan-Africanism and the cause of global independence, the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement has the honor to award the Pan-African honorary medal symbolizing the exploits of Julius K.Nyerere, former Tanzanian president, who was one of the founders of the Pan-African Movement and made a contribution to the national liberation in colony, independence and peace of the African continent, he noted.

The honorary medal and certificate were conveyed to the DPRK ambassador.
