Rim Un Sim Weightlifter Bags Three Gold Medals

| Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- Rim Un Sim, woman weightlifter of the DPRK, bagged three gold medals at the 2016 World Junior Weightlifting Championships which began on in Tbilisi, Georgia June 23. 250 men and women weightlifters from about 40 countries and regions including the DPRK, Russia, China, Uzbekistan and Thailand are taking part in the championships. Rim Un Sim lifted 105kg in snatch, 135kg in jerk and 240kg in total in the women's 63kg category event to take the first place. Meanwhile, Pak Jong Ju won three silver medals after finishing second in snatch, jerk and total standings in the men's 62kg category event. |
