Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, and its vice-chairmen, chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, members and advisers of the Central Standing Committee, permanent adviser of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, members of the Central Committee and members of the Central Audit Committee.

Discussed at the meeting was the first agenda item "On opening up the new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan by dint of single-minded unity of the ranks of Chongryon and on the compatriots-first principle by thoroughly carrying out the important letter with the honor of having held the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un at the top post of the Juche cause".

Ho Jong Man in a report of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon said that the important letter sent by the Marshal on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon serves as an encyclopedia and immortal great programme as it comprehensively deals with the tasks and ways of opening up the new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan by carrying out the last instructions of the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.

He called on all the Chongryon officials including the members of its Central Committee to turn out as one in the drive for opening up as soon as possible the new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan in the great Kim Jong Un's era, braving any hardships and obstacles.

The speakers said that all the units would thoroughly embody the basic spirit of the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea in the movement of Koreans in Japan and conduct the general advance to thoroughly carry out the five-point tasks clarified at the important letter sent by the Marshal.

The report of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon was adopted as a decision of the enlarged meeting of the Central Committee of Chongryon.

The second agenda item was discussed.

Pak Ku Ho was dismissed from the post of vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and transferred to the post of the director general of the Choson Sinbo of Chongryon and O Min Hak was appointed as vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and concurrently director of its Economic Department.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
