Juan Jose Leon Vega, first vice-chairman of the Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification, said in a speech that he did not forget the hard-fought Korean War ignited by the U.S. imperialists against the DPRK on June 25, 1950.

He went on:

The U.S. imperialists and their followers gave full play to their disposition as brutal murderers in the war against the Korean people.

However, the U.S. imperialists yielded to the service personnel and people of the DPRK who turned out in the struggle for defending their country, united close around the party and the leader.

President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of the Korean people, dedicated their all to Korea's reunification till the last moments of their lives.

Korea will be certainly reunified thanks to supreme leader Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of the great leaders.

Firm is the friendship between the two countries provided and developed by Comrades Fidel Castro Ruz and Raul Castro Ruz, Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and being developed by Comrade Raul Castro Ruz and Comrade Kim Jong Un.

We will always extend invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for reunifying the country.
