Present at the meeting were personages of the Yaracuy State government and assembly, the United Left Party, trade unions and social organizations and other people of Venezuela.

Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to Venezuela and members of his embassy.

A secretary in charge of culture of the Yaracuy State government in a speech extended support and solidarity to the Korean people who are waging a dynamic struggle to oppose the U.S. imperialists and build a socialist power, and expressed the will to conduct the solidarity movement for supporting the Korean people's cause in various forms and ways.

The speaker of the state assembly said that the struggle of the Korean people who have firmly defended socialism while smashing every move of the U.S. imperialists for aggression and interference under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il serves as a good model for the Venezuelan people.

The general coordinator of the Federal Secretariat of the United Left Party expressed belief that the Venezuelan people and the Korean people would support and solidarize with each other in the struggle against the U.S. imperialists, the common enemy, and for building of socialism.

The participants in the meeting expressed their will to conduct dynamic solidarity activities to support the Korean people in their struggle for building a socialist power, achieving the country's reunification and smashing the U.S. imperialists' provocation and moves for aggression during the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.
