S. Korean Puppet Regime Accused of Checking Inter-Korean Exchange

Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean website newspaper Tongil News, the Labor Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration issued a statement on June 28 accusing the puppet authorities of checking exchange and cooperation between the north and the south.

The statement denounced the Ministry of Unification for disallowing again on June 27 the exchange of letters between the headquarters and the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea for holding the football match between workers of the south and north for reunification.

Noting that the inter-Korean relations have already been put at the lowest ebb, the statement charged that it is an action hardly understandable to check even the non-governmental exchange and cooperation aimed at mending the relations.

It urged the "government" to have a correct perception of non-governmental exchange and cooperation for reconciliation between the south and the north.
