Noting the updating planned by Washington definitely goes against the promise made by Obama trumpeting about nuclear disarmament, the report said his idea of building "a world without nuclear weapons" is no more than a pipedream full of contradiction.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Saturday says:

It is the invariable ambition persistently pursued by the U.S. imperialists to dominate the world by seizing military edge with its nuclear club.

It is the present goal of Washington to create a favorable atmosphere for realizing the wild dream by occupying the whole Korean peninsula, in particular.

Irony is that Obama spouted anti-DPRK invectives that the latter "has perpetrated provocations by not only developing nukes but also proliferating them" and it is "the worst obstacle to building a world without nuclear weapons" and "its nuclear and ballistic missile programs threaten the region, the U.S. and the world." This only reminds one of a guilty party filing a suit first.

But such brigandish method of Washington can never work in this world.

With no rhetoric of turning black into white can it conceal its true colors as the world's worst mastermind of nuclear threat and proliferation.

The more desperately the U.S. resorts to its reckless nuclear intimidation against the DPRK, the more vividly it will betray its true colors as the world's chief architect of nuclear threat.
