Rodong Sinmun Saturday says in a commentary in this regard:

The U.S. politicians label the U.S. forces present abroad as "apostle of peace" and are talking about some compensation. Lurking behind this is the sinister intention to calm down the mounting anti-U.S. sentiments in different parts of the world and realize the strategy for dominating the Asia-Pacific region at any cost by emptying the purses of the war servants and stooges.

The U.S. attempt to regard the Korean peninsula as its scapegoat for realizing the ambition for aggression is no more than a daydream that can never be realized.

If the U.S. misses the last chance for making a policy switchover in the peninsula, not understanding the change of the era, its hostile policy toward the DPRK will terminate at the crucible of a war.

We will no longer allow the national division to persist as it has steadily ruined the nation's homogeneity for more than seven decades. If the U.S. ignites a war, we will lead it to a great war for national reunification. This is the steadfast will of the iron will of the service personnel and people of the DPRK.

The U.S. imperialist aggression forces present in south Korea are the first sacrifice of a nuclear war to be unleashed by the U.S.

The U.S. politicians should withdraw at once the imperialist aggression forces and their bases from the Korean peninsula and its vicinity, before urging their servants to cover more expenses for the upkeep of their armed forces in south Korea.
