The meeting was attended by Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power organs, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials of institutions, industrial establishments and universities, citizens, youths and students in the city, overseas Koreans and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, made a congratulatory report.

The reporter said Kim Jong Un's election to the top post of the DPRK at the Fourth Session of the 13th Supreme People's Assembly was a great revolutionary jubilee of historic significance in demonstrating before the whole world the dignity and national power of the great Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea and accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution pioneered in Mt. Paektu.

Only victory and glory are in store for the service personnel and people of the DPRK who are advancing under the guidance of the ever-victorious WPK headed by Kim Jong Un, he added.

He stressed the need to launch an all-out charge for the eternal prosperity of the DPRK, the victory in the drive for the building of a socialist power, national reunification and the final accomplishment of the cause of the Juche revolution, united close around Kim Jong Un.

Then congratulatory speeches were made by Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, Army General Pak Yong Sik, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK and minister of the People's Armed Forces, and Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the C.C., Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League.

They reiterated their will to bear in mind the great pride and honor of holding Kim Jong Un at the top posts of the party and the state and remain loyal to his leadership.
