Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, an executive member of the Goteborg Committee of the Communist Party of Sweden, and Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, were elected co-chairpersons of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold political and cultural events for praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung on the 22nd anniversary of his demise.
