Marijann Kubik, international secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party, was elected chairman of the national committee.

The committee decided to hold various political and cultural events for praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung and give wide publicity to the Korean people's struggle for defending the country's sovereignty and building a socialist power under the wise guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un on the 22nd anniversary of demise of Kim Il Sung.
