New Symphonies Created
Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- The National Symphony Orchestra of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea created new symphonies reflecting the sentiment of citizens.

Among them are orchestral overture "Mother's Birthday", symphonic series "We Sing of the Party" and orchestral music "Snowstorm of Mt. Paektu", "We Will Go to Mt. Paektu", "Green Pine on Nam Hill" and "Appearance of Korea".

Those orchestral works successfully represent the spirit of the DPRK army and people always picturing Mt. Paektu, the ancestral mountain of the country, and the revolutionary optimism that one can surely emerge victorious when overcoming all sorts of difficulties and ordeals in the spirit of uninterrupted revolution.

And "Appearance of Korea" shows well that the single-hearted unity of the DPRK people rallied around the leader with unique idea and will is the most powerful might superior to any nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, the National Symphony Orchestra made such achievements as recreating various works like chorus and orchestra "A Bumper Harvest in the Chongsan Plain", piano concerto "To a Decisive Battle" and cantata "The Amnok River".
