Jo Il Min, chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF), said this when interviewed by KCNA on Wednesday.

The chief said that every chronicle of the Korean nation's reunification movement was recorded with the devoted efforts of the President who led the cause of national independence to victory with his profound idea, outstanding leadership and great magnanimity.

The chief went on:

The President actively tided over all difficulties and hurdles, indicated the fundamental principles and measures for reunification and led all Koreans to implement them.

The three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo, which serve as the guidelines in carrying out the cause of national reunification, reflected the President's ardent love for the country and nation and unbreakable will for reunification.

We cannot fathom how many sleepless nights the President spent, how long road he took and how many works he authored for opening up a turning phase for reunification.

As he regarded the reunification of the country as his noble mission and the greatest gift to be presented to the Koreans, he stayed up the whole night to leave on the document related to national reunification his immortal and historic autograph even in the last moments of his great life.

Nine autographic letters reading "Kim Il Sung 1994.7.7." reflect the tireless efforts and wisdom of the peerlessly great man who did his best for national reunification and provided firm groundwork for independent reunification and his earnest request on achieving national reunification, the cherished desire of the nation, by the concerted efforts of all Koreans.

Indeed, the world history records no man as great as the President who devoted his all to the country and the nation till the last moments of his life.
