S. Korean Organization Urges Authorities to Accept DPRK's Proposal for Great National Conference

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty in south Korea in a statement on July 4 urged the puppet authorities to accept the proposal of the DPRK to hold a great national conference for reunification.

But the south Korean authorities turned down the offer, terming it "offensive for the united front lacking sincerity", and insisted on their old stand that there is no dialogue before the "north's denuclearization," the statement noted, and continued:

The Park Geun Hye regime should not reject the north's proposal under the pretext of the unrealistic "denuclearization first" but make positive efforts to create the atmosphere of improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving national reconciliation and unity.
