The king extended warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, on his election as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

The king said that Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the great leaders of the Korean people, had special relations with Great King Norodom Sihanouk from long ago and provided traditional and special relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, adding that the Cambodian people would never forget it.

He noted that he was pleased over the fact that the relations between the two countries are steadily developing day by day under the particular care of Kim Jong Un.

He sincerely wished him good health and happiness and greater success in his noble work for the development of the country and happiness of the people.
