Swimming Contests to Be Held in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Different swimming contests will be held in Pyongyang, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, in the months for maritime physical culture, July and August.

According to an official concerned, months for maritime physical culture serve as an important occasion to improve physical fitness of citizens, students and children and raise public interest in maritime physical culture.

A swimming contest of officials of the commissions, ministries and national institutions is slated for July 20-21 at the Swimming Pool of the Changgwang Health Complex.

Swimming contests also include the Pyongyang City qualifier for the National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize, swimming contest of educational workers in Pyongyang and the youth and students' Taedong River crossing competition.

Meanwhile, maritime competitions are in full swing in different parts of the country as part of the Sports Contest for Jonsung Cup.
