The Kwangju and South Jolla Provincial Headquarters of the south side committee held press conferences for successfully holding the conference in front of the South Jolla Provincial Office and the Sunchon City Office.

The Taejon Headquarters of the south side committee held a press conference at the Taejon City "Assembly" at which it supported the proposal for holding the conference. A press release was read out there.

It urged the Park Geun Hye regime to stop dismissing the north's proposal for holding the great conference for reunification as "a trite method" but strive to make it success, taking it as a chance of repairing the south-north relations.

On the same day the South Kyongsang Provincial Headquarters and the Ulsan Headquarters of the south side committee held press conferences.
