The general coordinator of the Federal Secretariat of the United Left Party of Venezuela was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events to praise the sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Il Sung on the 22nd anniversary of his demise.
