Present there were Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Hwang Myong, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, and other executive members.

Hwang said in his report that the officials and activists under the headquarters have waged a dynamic patriotic movement to carry out the five-point tasks to usher in a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan indicated by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

He said the Tokyo organization will take the lead in carrying out the decision of the Chongryon Central Committee to implement all the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his important letter.

Then followed speeches. The report was adopted as a decision of the executive committee.

Jo Il Yon was elected chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was read out.
